What I have noticed…
Why is it that the majority of “blogs” are always about the latest gadget? How does this pertain to it being your virtual journal? To me, it seems more like you are simply advertising a product.
I happened to be looking through some of my online friends links, and inadvertently came across another blog site. However, I looked through all of this girls posts and all she seemed to talk about was the newest electronic devices or newest clothing line she saw out and about. She never talked about her life, or even her online life. What I read seemed like she was just talking about how great a product this thing was.
I can understand such a thing if you’re a review site, but no she called it her “personal blog where she talked about her life”…Only I saw nothing of the sort. Are blogs not supposed to be where we vent about the stresses of our daily lives?
Okay enough ranting for moi xD. I did add a new page, finally. I posted a photography section under the “goodies” link. Of course my photography is free to use as long as you credit it to “Shannon Rae” or at least link back to my site. Should I find these photos are being used uncredited, I WILL take them down. Please use courtesy, and if course more of them will come when I find my SD card xD
Also, Icons have been updated, more added, and I organsied them!
FINALLY well again!
I apologize for disappearing and doing NOTHING to my poor little domain.
In short, the sickness I contracted was mono…again… I fist got it when I was 17, and felt like I was going to croak all week. What made matters worse at the time was it spring break… Yeah, not fun!
Well, when I visited my doctor last week, he told me that once you get mono, it really never goes away, just sort of lays dormant in your system. However, it can flare back up if you get a cold, or something of the sort and make matters worse. Well, it seems a server at work named David also had mono as a kid and he got it again, and that is how i got sick. I called him and told him I appreciated him giving me mono again and now people were probably going to think we were dating, which of course we are not.
He laughed and said the same, and well, that was that.
Now I am better.
On to current events: I am thinking of changing my major from Business to Art History. I have always enjoyed the latter much more than the former, and as I have already taken many art-related classes it would not be much of a change. However, though I have yet to take any classes for it, my minor will remain French. I am hoping that I will be able to get a job that allows me to travel internationally, and of course knowing another language fluently will help an incredible amount.
The only thing I am sad about is that I have to take another semester off, and won’t be returning to university until the Spring 2012 semester. So I have continued to work full time. Maybe by then I can afford my hella expensive textbooks? I cannot believe they have jumped to well over $100 per book!
Also, come to find out that whilst I was ill, my poor little betta fish decided to do the same. His fins are all flat and his colour is so dull =( I took him to Petco and they told me to give him aquarium salt in his water, and that he is simply anxious and depressed…FISH CAN HAVE AN ANXIETY DISORDER? o__O Some useful bit of information for you that you might not have known there.
Alas, I have a million comments to return, and web pages to create…Off I go!
A la prochaine,
Shannon
